Why do you want to deliver a keynote?

Sometimes it’s because you are ‘known’ for your expertise or experience or maybe even your story. Which is great.

Of course, knowing your stuff doesn’t automatically mean that you know how to say it with maximum impact and influence. Just recently I’ve been working with some amazing clients – they most definitely know their stuff. But what they’ve wanted is to be able to be clear , concise and engaging.

It would appear that all of us, me included, really want to engage and interact with our audiences. And of course, when people engage, they listen. When they listen and connect, then they take meaning from your talk. And that’s impact. And influence (often long after you’ve finished speaking .

So, why do you want to deliver a keynote? And are you delivering your ‘stuff’ as powerfully as you can?
